General Questions

Understanding Our Approach

How is this different from PR or brand consulting?
+

PR firms pitch media and chase placements. Brand consultants design logos and color palettes. We build operating systems for positioning.

You get frameworks and methodology, not just press mentions or aesthetic exercises. Impact Genome, Voice Vector, Auth Atlas, Market Lattice — these are production frameworks with quantified outcomes. We track authority gap closure, speaking invitations, message clarity, conversion rates — not "brand awareness" or "impressions."

Think: systems engineering, not tactical PR or visual identity design.

Do you work with individuals or companies?
+

Both. We have two product lines:

Executive Positioning — For individuals (C-suite executives, academic leaders, healthcare leaders, professional services partners) who've built institutions but have weak public visibility.

Product Positioning — For companies (B2B SaaS, enterprise software, deep tech) whose products solve real problems but prospects are confused by the messaging.

We also work with PR firms and communications agencies as B2B partners, licensing our methodology for their client engagements.

What's your success rate?
+

We measure success by quantified outcomes, not subjective "satisfaction."

Executive Positioning: 100% of clients see authority gap closure within 60 days. Average metrics: +55% profile views, +38% speaking conversion, +43% message clarity (stakeholder-tested).

Product Positioning: Average sales cycle compression of 35%, demo-to-close lift of 67%, competitive win rate improvement of 52%.

But here's what matters more: We work with people and products that already have substance. If you've built something real, we can make it visible. If you haven't, no positioning system will help.

Executive Positioning

For People

Do I need to be famous for this to work?
+

No. You need to have done something substantial. Built institutions, led transformations, achieved measurable outcomes.

Lisa Al-Rashidi wasn't famous. She was invisible despite 15 years building nursing education infrastructure in the GCC. Real authority: 95/100. Public projection: 22/100. That's the gap we close.

Fame is a result of good positioning, not a prerequisite.

What if I'm not comfortable being public?
+

Authority doesn't require extroversion. Lisa is measured, evidence-first, never loud. We architect positioning that matches your natural voice.

The Narrative Optics framework stress-tests 9 positioning angles and scores each for authenticity. If it doesn't sound like you, we reject it. Lisa's dominant angle scored 98/100 on authenticity because it reflected how she actually describes her work in private conversations.

We don't make you perform. We make your existing reality visible.

How long until I see results?
+

Authority gap closes: 30-60 days (measurable via profile views, search visibility, inbound quality)

Speaking opportunities and media requests: 90-120 days

Sustained thought leader status: 9-12 months

This assumes you complete the engagement and deploy the frameworks. If you get the positioning architecture but don't execute the content production system, results will be slower.

What if my industry is boring?
+

No industry is boring if you've built something rare.

Healthcare education, enterprise software, industrial manufacturing, financial services compliance — we've positioned executives across "boring" sectors. Institutional proof is compelling regardless of sector.

What makes positioning interesting isn't the industry — it's the specific outcomes you achieved that others couldn't replicate. 7× enrollment growth is interesting. NCLEX turnaround is interesting. 91% faculty retention during scale is interesting.

Generic industry descriptions are boring. Quantified wins are not.

Can I do this myself?
+

The frameworks are proprietary and require expertise to deploy correctly. But if you have 200+ hours and deep positioning methodology experience, you could attempt it.

Most executives find that outsourcing to specialists produces better results faster. Your time is worth more than the cost of the engagement.

Also: positioning yourself is like being your own therapist. The external perspective matters. You're too close to see your own authority gaps.

Do you write all my content?
+

Depends on the engagement tier.

Foundation Package (System 1): We build the positioning architecture. You handle content execution (or hire a content team).

Production Package (Systems 1+2): We build the positioning and set up the content production engine. We generate 8-12 posts/week for the first 90 days, then you take over (or we continue via retainer).

Full System (All 4 Systems): Complete authority operating system including ongoing content production, distribution orchestration, and opportunity conversion for 12-24 months.

Product Positioning

For Products

How is this different from hiring a copywriter?
+

Copywriters write words. We architect positioning systems.

You get: messaging frameworks, competitive analysis, value proposition hierarchies, buyer persona architecture, homepage structure, feature page templates, sales deck logic, battle cards, customer proof frameworks.

Think: positioning strategy + messaging architecture + sales enablement, not "rewrite my homepage."

We do write key copy (homepage, feature pages, sales deck), but that's the output of the positioning system, not the deliverable itself.

What if we just launched and have no customers yet?
+

We can position based on product capabilities and target buyer needs. But validation testing (System 3) requires real prospects.

If you have no customers: We can do Systems 1+2 (Positioning Architecture + Message Deployment). You'll get defensible positioning and go-to-market messaging, but it won't be buyer-validated yet.

If you have 5-10 customers: We can do the full engagement including validation testing. We'll recruit prospects from your target market to test message comprehension.

Do you write all the copy for our website?
+

We provide messaging frameworks and key copy (homepage, 6-8 feature pages, sales deck, battle cards).

Your team (or a production copywriter) handles scaling it across all channels — blog posts, email sequences, ad copy, social posts, support docs, etc.

We're architects, not production copywriters. We build the system, you (or your team) operate it.

How technical do we need to get?
+

Very technical. We need to understand what your product actually does — not marketing fluff, but engineering reality.

We'll interview your product team, review technical documentation, understand the architecture, see the code if needed.

Then we translate that technical truth into buyer value. But we need the deep technical truth first. Generic "AI-powered platform" descriptions don't cut it.

What if our product does too many things?
+

That's exactly when you need positioning.

Multi-capability products require persona-based positioning — who are you for, what problem do you solve for them, why should they care?

We specialize in this. The Buyer Persona Framework maps which capabilities matter to which personas. The Value Proposition Hierarchy ensures you're not trying to say everything to everyone.

Trying to position a platform that "does everything" is positioning suicide. We fix that.

How long until we see results?
+

Messaging goes live: 3-12 weeks (depending on engagement tier)

Sales cycle compression and conversion lift: 60-90 days post-launch

Full validation: 4-6 months of sales data

But here's what matters: Your sales team will know immediately if the new messaging works. Within 2-3 demos, they'll tell you "prospects finally get it" or "this isn't resonating." We track both anecdotal feedback and quantified metrics.

Process & Investment

Working Together

What's included in the complimentary assessment?
+

60-90 minute diagnostic session where we:

1. Review your current positioning (executive profile or product messaging)

2. Identify your authority gap or messaging clarity gap

3. Show you which frameworks apply to your situation

4. Recommend the appropriate engagement tier

You walk away with a clear understanding of the gap and what it would take to close it. No pressure to engage — we identify the problem, you decide if you want to solve it.

What's your pricing?
+

Executive Positioning:

• Foundation Package: $45K (8 weeks, System 1)
• Production Package: $75K (14 weeks, Systems 1+2)
• Full System: Custom pricing, typically $150K-$250K (24 weeks, all 4 systems)

Product Positioning:

• Positioning Sprint: $35K (3-4 weeks, System 1)
• Full Messaging: $65K (6-8 weeks, Systems 1+2)
• Validated Positioning: $95K (9-12 weeks, all 3 systems)

Payment terms: 50% upfront, 50% at midpoint. No recurring fees unless you opt for ongoing content production retainer.

Do you offer payment plans?
+

Standard terms are 50% upfront, 50% at engagement midpoint.

For Full System engagements ($150K+), we can structure quarterly payments over the engagement duration.

We don't offer monthly subscriptions or ongoing retainers for the initial positioning work — these are project-based engagements with defined scope and timeline.

Ongoing content production (post-engagement) can be structured as monthly retainer if desired.

What's your refund policy?
+

We don't offer refunds after work begins, but we do offer a satisfaction guarantee at the midpoint milestone.

At 50% completion, we present all work completed to date. If you're not satisfied with the quality or direction, you can terminate the engagement and owe nothing for the second half.

This has never happened. Our process includes continuous stakeholder review, so there are no surprises at the midpoint.

How much of my time is required?
+

Week 1-2: 4-6 hours (interviews, documentation review, context gathering)

Weeks 3-6: 2-3 hours/week (review sessions, stakeholder alignment, framework validation)

Weeks 7+: 1-2 hours/week (content review, deployment feedback)

Total time investment: 20-30 hours over 8-12 weeks for Foundation/Production packages. Slightly more for Full System engagements.

We optimize for your time — most work happens on our side. Your job is to provide context, validate direction, and approve deliverables.

Can we start small and add more later?
+

Yes. That's why we have modular tiers.

Most clients start with Foundation Package (Executive) or Positioning Sprint (Product). After seeing the positioning architecture, many add System 2 (content production) or System 3 (distribution/validation).

You can also start with the Mini Authority Audit ($5K, 2 weeks) which delivers a gap analysis and roadmap. The $5K is credited toward a full engagement if you proceed.

No pressure to buy the Full System upfront. Prove value incrementally.
